The work was done very professionally. Moon arrived in the evening just before dark. They explained the procedures and cost before starting the work. The tank was so full it was necessary to inject water to liquefy the contents before it could be pumped. After pumping, they checked my sewer line and found it to be partially blocked so they flushed the line to remove the blockage. Most of this work was done in the dark, but they did a fine job.  After completing the work, they replaced both the soil and the turf they had removed to expose the tank. The workers were Professional, friendly and considerate.  I have no complaint of any kind.

I called Moon Septic on a Saturday and they answered the call not only that they were at my house with in 1 hour. They gave me an estimate and told me they could start Monday afternoon they showed up on time and worked until after dark to finish. They have this customer for life. Highly recommend!

The job went GREAT! We called for a bid, based on a recommendation from a friend, and after reading the existing reviews on this site. They provided a well put together, comprehensive bid package that included a full breakdown of costs (including materials, labor, permit fee, and listed any item that had the potential to increase and how much that increase would be). The bid package also contained a copy of the contractor license, certificate of insurance, and reviews/letters from satisfied customers. We felt very at ease, had reviewed other bids, and signed the contract right away. We placed our deposit and breathed a sigh of relief that our drain field problems would soon be over. That was a Wednesday afternoon, less than two weeks ago. The Monday after signing the bid, Rich had our permit in hand and the equipment needed to complete the job began to arrive. While keeping in constant communication, four days later the job was done, had passed the two inspections needed to cover the system, and we are back in business. Rich was on the job personally every day with his crew and we are confident the job is top quality. The final cost was slightly higher than the original bid because we needed an extra load of perks and, but that had been disclosed in the bid and we were told why it was needed and had no problems paying the extra cost. Not only was the potential for extra sand in the bid, but it was needed for the very reason he had discussed when we met with him on the first day. It was nine days from bid to completion, we could not be happier.

I called Elsie yesterday (January 13, 2015) at Moon Septic to ask the usual questions (for me) to get initial information on the care and maintenance of my House’s septic system.  As I mentioned above, I bought my Home last October and it is “City Water and Septic” a situation that exists in most Homes in my area.  For a number of reasons I never really got to meet the Old Owners to ask THEM direct questions about the House to include the septic system.  Because I had been on “City Water and Sewer” for so long, thinking of a Septic System was not something I did with any frequency but, after moving into the new Home, the situation became one of concern to me since I had heard of all the horror stories concerning backed up toilets!  As such, I went on Angie’s list here and began looking….you are listed as a fantastic company and it turns out to be true!  I called planning to make an appointment for sometime in the near future when Elsie asked me…..Are you home today?….when I said yes, She immediately said that She could send someone THAT DAY but that it would take about an hour for Him to empty the truck first.  She sounded so apologetic that with a smile on my face I felt like consoling the poor Lady (SMILE)!  Lynn arrived practically on schedule and like I mentioned above was FANTASTICALLY helpful in his advice and knowledge giving me information on what to look out for, how to make sure my Septic System remains healthy and very importantly here…..reassured me that MY system was in great shape!  ANYONE can with some training (though I don’t know the details of such training) can go to a Home like Lynn did and pump a Septic Tank BUT, Moon Septic and Lynn in particular take such service even farther by providing WORLD CLASS Customer Service and a proven expertise!  Lynn answered EVERY one of my questions to my complete satisfaction and ADDED information that I had missed because I had said, I’m not familiar with Septic Systems……THANK YOU Moon Septic!……THANK YOU Lynn!  I believe in loyalty and the Companies and People I am finding on Angie’s List to help me care for my new Home are people I hope to have with me for YEARS to come…I will be recommending Moon Septic to EVERYONE I know!

No issues at all. Lynn was the technician and was very presentable and knowledgeable. The equipment was older but very clean and seemed to be well maintained and organized. All my questions were answered and the job was performed in a timely manner. Outstanding service!

On May 17 & 18,2017, a contract between Lee County Human & Veterans Services and Moon Site & Septic, Inc was implimented to install a new DRAIN FIELD  on my new VA HOME. We met first with Rich Katz (President) of Moon Septic and his professional and attention to detail was amazing. When his Sons joined him ready to work, it was evident that we were going to get professionalism by the book. When the job was done (on day two) we were quite pleased with the final product. The Sons were even ready to stump out 2 dead tree stumps I had in my front yard. Could not ask for anything more. Professionalism at the highest level. I highly recommend  Moon Septic every time.

From the first call to the completed service, exceptional. Elsie on the phone was very informative, friendly and gracious. Lynn came out to do the work and he was FANTASTIC. He taught me all about my system, explained the process from beginning to end. Pumped out 1100 gal tank that was FULL, cleaned filter. He was personable, honest and sincere. Really happy with this company, wouldn’t consider using anyone else since this encounter.
